Milda Basiulyte

Director Policy Manager for Sustainability

Milda Basiulytė joined DIGITALEUROPE in June 2018 as Senior Manager responsible for sustainability issues. Her main focus is circular economy, waste-related issues and ecodesign. She is also responsible for coordinating policy areas that we cover in our daily advocacy activities.

Before joining DIGITALEUROPE, Milda was responsible for legal and communication issues for FEAD, European Federation representing the private waste and resource management industry, where she was producing policy positions on circular economy, eco-design, waste and chemicals interface, internal market and competition issues. In her role as a communications officer, she was in charge of developing and implementing communications’ strategies, taking part in organisation of internal and external events, preparing and delivering presentations/speeches, engaging on social media, and taking care of the relations with the press. Before joining FEAD, she worked as a lawyer in Lithuania, as well as at the Directorate General for Internal Market and Services of the European Commission.

She holds both, a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in law, and an LLM degree in European law from the University of Ghent.
