Kivanç Akil

Events and Office Manager

Kivanç joined DIGITALEUROPE in July 2016. As the Events and Office Executive, Kivanc is responsible for planning and coordinating DIGITALEUROPE’s approximative 40 events per year, from large high-level conferences and gala dinners to smaller workshops and board meetings. She also ensures the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis for the team and the members.

Within the communications team, her main focus is organisation of the Digital Advisory Council (DAC) and the optimal utilisation of our CRM. 

Prior to joining DIGITALEUROPE, Kivanç worked in a prestigious 5* hotel in Brussels in positions such as Quality Manager, Conference & Events Manager, Guest Relations and Assistant Front Office Manager.

Besides a B.Sc. in Tourism & Hotel Management, she also holds an M.A. degree in European Studies from K.U.Leuven. Her fondness for learning has also earned her a TEFL Certificate from Georgetown University.
