Omar Dhaher

Omar joined DIGITALEUROPE as a Technical Associate Director for DTI PG, Standardisation, PCMA & Other Technical Activities. 

Prior to joining the team, he worked as a Senior Technology Manager for European DIGITAL SME Alliance, where he focused on ICT standardisation. His work consisted in representing the association in different EC expert groups, developing position papers, responding to public, managing standardisation events, supervising advocacy campaigns, and implementing EU projects.

He has also worked as a Business & ICT Consultant & Professional Trainer for several organisations, both as a Researcher and Business Adviser.​

Omar has 20 years of experience in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, ICT Management, Policy Analysis, Standardisation, and Consultancy. ​

He also holds a PhD in Economic Sciences and Management, Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Information Systems Management, and a Bachelor in Computer Science.​
