Giorgia joined the DIGITALEUROPE Sustainability team in October 2021.
Prior to joining DIGITALEUROPE, Giorgia worked as Policy and Communications Officer in the Brussels-based trade confederation EFIC – European Furniture Industry Confederation, where she contributed to the Secretariat’s activities in key areas, including circular economy, circular design, technical barriers to trade, national initiatives hampering the functioning of the internal market etc.
She previously gained experience in EU affairs as a Bluebook trainee for the European Commission (DG Trade). She also worked as a Research Assistant for the Paris School of Economics on a financial history database project.
Giorgia holds a Master’s degree in European studies from the college of Europe in Natolin and a Master’s degree in History (focus on European Economic and Political History) from the University of Pisa, Italy, which was completed jointly with the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris.
