Michel Combot

Michel Combot is the executive director of NUMEUM, the largest digital trade association in France since May 2023. Michel has nearly 25 years of experience in the fields of digital economy, telecom and media.

Before joining NUMEUM, Michel worked as Managing Director of the French Telecoms Federation for the past 7 years. He also led the French strategic committee for “digital infrastructures and services”, gathering the whole digital ecosystem, from equipment manufacturers to research institutes and lawmakers, fostering, through private/public partnerships, the digital economy. Michel has also been, until recently, Vice-President of the European association EuroISPA, that carries the voice of ISPs in Europe, interacting frequently with the Commission and European lawmakers.

Michel has also worked for the French Government, in the United States and in France as well as for the French media and telecom commissions for nearly 18 years, defining and implementing numerous public policies related to the digital economy, from the telecom industry to the media and tech sectors.
