Marielle Ehrmann

Marielle Ehrmann is SAP’s Chief Security Officer leading the Global Organization for Security and Cloud Compliance. Since January 2026, Marielle is a member of SAP’s Supervisory Board.

As Chief Security Officer, Marielle oversees product security, cybersecurity, and physical security, as well as AI governance, global security risk management, and regulatory compliance at SAP. She drives the governance model that strengthens security culture, sharpens organizational risk awareness, and keeps SAP’s cloud services resilient and audit-ready across complex regulatory environments. Her leadership of AI governance establishes clear accountability, guardrails, and oversight to enable responsible innovation.

With a customer-first mindset, she protects SAP’s products, customers, employees, and assets, ensuring compliance acts as a key enabler of trust, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Having joined SAP in 2009, Marielle brings broad business experience spanning consulting, strategy, operations, program management, business development, and solution management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Applied Sciences in Manheim, Germany, and an Executive MBA from the University of West Florida in the United States.
