The French EU Presidency: an opportunity for the digital transition?

3 December 2021, 8:00 CET onwards

Online

France will be steering the ship at the helm of the Council of the European Union (EU) at a turning point for the EU, as it starts implementing the post-Covid recovery measures intended to foster a more sustainable, competitive and resilient European economy. The event is a timely opportunity to decipher the French Government’s priorities for the EU digital agenda, in light of its broader vision for a ‘sovereign’ EU, and how it will roll out the heavy legislative agenda of interest to the digital sector.

Organized for the first time in Brussels, the New Regulations for the Digital Age is a Numeum and SAMMAN initiative launched in 2017, with the scope to address the EU policies of interest to the tech sector through stimulating conversations between the industry, experts and EU and French policy makers.
