KIGEiT: 13TH TIME FORUM PROGRAM PROPOSALS AND THEIR EUROPEAN CONTEXT

In line with the new EU economic vision, the policy of rapid double transformation, i.e. digital and ecological transformation, is being implemented. It’s supposed to result in a faster increase in the scale of operations of EU digital businesses. The COVID-19 pandemic changed our lives so far and caused a global crisis, however, it also proved that the digital industry is resilient to such risks, which is reflected in the acceleration of digitization of all business processes. Moreover, it has become another argument for economic policy to take into account all the effects of globalization.

There exists an evident need for a thorough reorganization of value chains and sources of supply, taking into account the requirements of an environmentally neutral, networked Circular Economy.  The Polish economy as a whole, and the digital industry in particular, stand a chance for another qualitative and civilizational leap. Thus, it is in our interest to streamline the efforts of national business organizations, professional associations and chambers of commerce to actively participate in the process of creating a digital green EU economy. We want to meet the urgent need to adjust the legal ecosystem to the development requirements of the industry and to draw conclusions from the COVID-19 pandemic. The importance of data in business processes will grow rapidly. Therefore, the main topics of the 13th TIME Economic Forum will cover issues of infrastructure, industry, finance and services.
