Vacancy: Executive Outreach & Operations Intern

Key Responsibilities: 

    As the Executive Outreach & Operations Intern, you will work under the supervision of the Associate Director for Operations & Executive Outreach and in close collaboration with the Policy teams to support the delivery of high-quality events and key deliverables related to DIGITALEUROPE’s Executive Councils. These councils bring together senior industry executives from our member companies to exchange views and contribute to discussions on digital policy. You will contribute to the engagement of this newly established community of business leaders. 

    You will also support the Business Manager with administrative tasks that ensure the smooth running of the office. 

     

    Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Event coordination support: Assist in the planning and organisation of high-level meetings for C-level executives and senior policymakers. This includes drafting invitations, preparing agendas and materials, coordinating participant lists, producing nameplates and printed documents, supporting room setup and on-site logistics, and helping ensure smooth event delivery. 
    • Project management support: Support with the yearly planning of activities for each Executive Council, ensuring activities are planned, executed on time and tracked, and assist with the implementation of relevant processes. 
    • Stakeholder management support: Maintain and update stakeholder databases and contact lists. 
    • Research and administrative support: Conduct background research on companies, executives and policy developments, and provide administrative support to help ensure the smooth delivery of initiatives. 
    • Website management: Support the updating and maintenance of website content linked to the Executive Councils, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.  
    • Administrative support: Contribute to the smooth running of the office by assisting the Business Manager with operational and financial activities, including staff onboarding and offboarding, invoice management, and day-to-day office administration. 

    Key Requirements: 

        • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, International Relations or a related field.  
        • Interest in EU policymaking, digital policy and stakeholder engagement.  
        • Strong organisation skills and project coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. 
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
        • Fluent written and spoken English; French is a plus. 
        • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.  
        • Creative and proactive mindset, with an interest in developing engaging materials and events.

        Nationality/visa restrictions  

        Only EU nationals or candidates with the necessary paperwork to work in Belgium will be considered.

        Remuneration: 

          Paid internship (in addition to any possible funding received from your sending university).
