The AI Act – Building trust in EU innovation

10 October 2023, 15:30-17:30 CET

European Parliament (Room Spinelli 1E2) & Online

When it comes to the groundbreaking chances and opportunities AI can deliver for citizens, the European Commission has to equally take into account potential negative impacts. With the AI Act, the Commission developed a human-centric AI solutions approach in order to find the right balance between innovation and safety.

To maintain balance, it is essential to ensure the collaboration of all relevant stakeholders as well as the exchange of best practices to establish an effective regulatory framework for AI technologies and their oversight in Europe.

The event seeks to serve as a platform of exchange on these priority areas and discuss how AI systems should be handled in Europe.
