Digital Skills Summit 2026

Building Europe’s Workforce for Strategic Sectors

Turning Europe’s digital ambitions into practical workforce action

Europe’s competitiveness challenge is increasingly becoming a workforce
transformation challenge.

As digital technologies reshape strategic sectors—from healthcare and
energy to industry, infrastructure and public services—Europe must ensure
that people and organisations are ready not only to adopt new technologies,
but also to work, innovate and compete in an increasingly digital economy.

About the Summit

DIGITALEUROPE’s Digital Skills Summit brings together
policymakers, industry leaders, educators and workforce experts
to discuss how Europe can strengthen its skills base, accelerate digital
transformation and close the gap between policy ambition and operational
implementation.

The Summit will connect Europe’s skills agenda with the practical workforce
needs of its most strategic sectors.

Key Discussion Areas

Discussions will focus on AI and digital skills, workforce transformation,
energy and sustainability, healthcare innovation, industrial competitiveness
and Europe’s broader digital sovereignty ambitions.

Who Will Attend?

The Summit will bring together leaders from EU institutions, Member States,
industry, education and civil society for focused and implementation-oriented
discussions about Europe’s future workforce.
