The European Digital Health Summit, a two-day hybrid event in Madrid, will address pressing health challenges across Member States and EU4Health Programme-associated countries while fostering collaboration to advance EU4Health objectives. This high-level summit focuses on four key themes:

• healthcare systems and workforce,
• one health approach,
• pharmaceuticals,
• digital transformation in health

The European Digital Health Summit is designed in a hybrid format, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, civil society, healthcare professionals, trade associations, and patient advocates.

Through workshops, policy dialogues, and live demonstrations, the Summit creates a dynamic platform for stakeholders to share knowledge, explore solutions, and align national strategies to overcome shared challenges.

The event’s key outcomes — including policy recommendations and best practices — will be made available in an open-access repository and connected to ongoing EU initiatives.

This High-Level Summit acts as a catalyst for lasting collaboration, capacity building, and systemic improvements across Europe’s healthcare ecosystem.
