Spotlight on the GDPR and ePrivacy at Bitkom Privacy Conference

At this year’s edition of the Bitkom Privacy Conference, our Senior Policy Manager, Alberto Di Felice, moderated a panel gathering senior speakers from Deutsche Telekom, Facebook and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

With new Bitkom research showing mixed feelings from German businesses big and small about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), at this year’s edition of the Bitkom Privacy Conference (27 September) the spotlight was all on solving the challenges and grabbing the opportunities of GDPR implementation. And with ePrivacy looming on the horizon, it was also time to ask what the future of privacy regulation in Europe looks like.
