Future Unicorn Award nominee: Ivalua
DIGITALEUROPE is proud to introduce Ivalua, nominated by TECH IN France, among the selected SMEs to participate in the Future Unicorn Award. Ivalua is recognised as a leader in Strategic Sourcing Applications, and the company has continued to show strong growth and innovativeness in an increasingly competitive market.
About Ivalua
Ivalua was founded in 2000 on a disruptive idea: that Procurement can unlock significant strategic value from a company’s spend and supply chain. Based on that idea, Ivalua created complete a Source-to-Pay spend management platform that delivers capabilities to boost profitability by streamlining procurement processes.
Recognised as a Leader by Gartner and other analysts, Ivalua’s Source-to-Pay suite is leveraged by over 250 leading companies across the globe to manage over $500 billion in direct and indirect spend. The platform’s combination of ease-of-use, depth, breadth and flexibility ensures high employee and supplier adoption, rapid time to value and the ability to meet unique or evolving requirements, evidenced by the industry’s leading 98%+ retention rate.

Advice for policymakers
Europe remains a broad set of unique markets rather than a single one. Awareness remains a local issue and companies still expect vendors to have demonstrated presence and success in their local market and in some cases even local data centres. This creates a barrier to entry for vendors expanding across Europe which only time can address. Rapid penetration of new markets remains difficult, especially across Germany and southern Europe.

About the award
The Pan-European Future Unicorn Award aims to highlight innovative SMEs that have the potential to become Europe’s next unicorns. The award is compiled by asking all the national trade associations affiliated with DIGITALEUROPE to nominate a single SME from their country. This results in a truly pan-European selection of incredible digital companies from all sectors.
The award will be delivered at our flagship event, Masters of Digital, in Brussels on 21 February.
