DIGITALEUROPE is proud to introduce Planet Idea, among the selected SMEs to participate in the Future Unicorn Award. This Italian company is driving the digitisation of SMEs and enterprises with a competence center which consults with cities & neighborhoods on how best to integrate innovation into urban areas.
About Planet Idea
Planet Idea, based in Turin, Italy, is developing a proprietary platform dedicated to the inhabitants of smart cities to offer access to smart solutions, services and to enable the creation of a circular economy within each community. The platform will also constitute a market place for local businesses, so through the app, residents will also access affordable goods and services, spanning from education, work, health, security, sport, home, food and mobility, that generate value and continued engagement of community members.
Furthermore, the Competence Centre of Planet Idea is being developing to provide consultancy on smart affordable housing projects worldwide to third-party developers and public administrations and sisters companies.

About the award
The Pan-European Future Unicorn Award aims to highlight innovative SMEs that have the potential to become Europe’s next unicorns. The award is compiled by asking all the national trade associations affiliated with DIGITALEUROPE to nominate a single SME from their country. This results in a truly pan-European selection of incredible digital companies from all sectors.
The award will be delivered at our flagship event, Masters of Digital, in Brussels on 6 February.
