About

The Executive Policy Advisory Committee (EPAC) is a new consultative body created by the Executive Board (Decision 439, 11 Mar 2025) to advise the Director General (DG) and Executive Board on policy matters – mirroring the Operations Committee (Ops Com), which focuses on operational issues.

EPAC tackles high-level strategy for complex policy challenges, recommending approaches that maximise policy impact and shape the association’s direction.

• Decision-Making: EPAG itself does not have decision-making authority. The Executive Board retains final approval on policy matters.
• Outputs: EPAC does not produce official policy positions – that role belongs to the association bodies as described by the Statutes & By-Laws. Instead, it provides guidance and strategic foresight to inform Board discussion & decisions.
