Webinar: Investing in digital skills in regions with the ERDF
Investing in digital skills in regions with the European Regional Development Fund
The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions. Management of the ERDF is shared between the EU and the Member States, with individual EU countries distributing funds and managing expenditure.
The Digital Agenda, therefore support the deployment of digital solutions, is one of the key areas for the ERDF investments up to 2020. But the gains from investments in technologies materialise only if there are people with right skills to use, roll-out and at the end develop these solutions.
The ERDF provides some means for actions that contribute to help different groups of people in acquiring and developing digital skills.
Together with experts implementing projects supported by the ERDF in Belgium/France, Latvia and Lithuania we invite you to explore how National Coalitions and pledgers can benefit from this fund, highlighting the specific eligibility rules for regions and the processes involved.
