Roundtable “A digital health decade: driving innovation in Europe”

22 March 2022, 14:30-16:30 CET, online

Invitation-only, Chatham-House rules

DIGITALEUROPE will be hosting a high-level closed roundtable on how Europe can achieve leadership in digital health innovations.

The roundtable will bring together key industry leaders from DIGITALEUROPE’s Executive Council for Health, and selected stakeholders including EU and Member States representatives, patients and healthcare professionals representatives and public health experts.

The discussion will be centred around the contents of DIGITALEUROPE’s upcoming publication on digital health innovation in Europe, which follows on from our publication on trust and the European Health Data Space. These include an overview of the areas where Europe has shown a strong potential to lead with digitally-powered healthcare; the policies that will accelerate and attract the next generation of healthcare solutions; and what are the barriers to innovation, with real-world examples.

The event will be an interactive discussion, with introductory remarks from the invited speakers followed by a longer, moderated debate. Please note that this event is by invitation only and will be held under Chatham House rules.

The audience will include MEPs, Council representatives, academics and DIGITALEUROPE members.

If you’d like to attend, please request your invitation by contacting Michele Calabrò at michele.calabro@digitaleurope.org.
