Sarah Wagner

Senior Policy Manager for Digital Trade

Sarah joined DIGITALEUROPE in February 2017 as Digital Sustainability Policy Assistant to support her colleagues in the Environmental Working Group. After having worked in the Digital Sustainability Team for several months, she is now responsible for the Digital Trade Policy portfolio. She deals with all issues related to international trade including customs, international market barriers, digital trade, cross-border data flows and export control of dual-use items.

Prior to joining DIGITALEUROPE, Sarah gained practical experience as trainee in the Council of the EU and the German embassy in Washington D.C. She also acquired negotiation skills as German Head Delegate at the G20 Youth Summit in Australia in 2014. 

Besides a B.A. in European Studies, Sarah holds a LLM in European and International Law from Maastricht University, including stays at Sciences Po Bordeaux, Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Hong Kong University and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
