Izabela Albrycht

Member of the Board - PIIT

Izabela Albrycht became Chair of the Kosciuszko Institute in 2010 and has been involved in the public policy discussion and decision-making processes regarding digitization and cybersecurity. Since 2014, she has been leading the European Cybersecurity Forum (CYBERSEC).

Between 2016 and 2018, she chaired the Council for Digitization in the Ministry of Digital Affairs, an advisory committee with competence to propose and give opinions on EU and governmental documents on digital transformation, information society, data economy, cybersecurity and emerging technologies (AI, 5G, QC). She is now a member. In 2017, she became a member of the Supervisory Board of Asseco Poland and in 2019 of ComCERT. In DIGITAL EUROPE representing Polish National Trade Associations Polska Izba Informatyki i Telekomunikacji – PIIT, Związek Cyfrowa Polska, KIGEiT – Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza Elektroniki i Telekomunikacji.

Izabela has long-standing professional relations within the digital community. She has been a member of Global Future Council on Cybersecurity in the World Economic Forum and a co-founder of Women4Cyber in the ECSO. She was ranked as one of “50 leading European Women in Cybersecurity for 2019” on the list developed by SC Media UK. She is a political scientist, a graduate of the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
