Francesco Giuffrè

Member of the Board - Anitec-Assinform

Francesco Giuffrè graduated in physics and started work in the USA at Lifephone Company. Once back in Italy, he developed a seven-years’ experience within the ASCOM TLC Group, shaping his pan-European profile in R&D and Regulatory Affairs. In 1997, Giuffrè joined Anitec-Assinform, covering various management positions over the years. Since October 2018, he is the Vice Director General.

Being part of the European associations since ECTEL and EICTA era, he has contributed, both at the national and European level, to reflect the digital market convergence of TLC, IT and CE sectors into the associations’ strategies and organization. Giuffrè has also managed Italy/Anitec-Assinform’s participation in EU projects such as eSkills for jobs and Watify coordinated by DigitalEurope at EU level as well as focused on the development of the Digital Agenda.

Between 2015 and 2019, Francesco Giuffrè successfully completed two mandates as a DE Board member; in 2018, he was part of the Operations Committee contributing, among other activities, to the membership fee revision project.
