Seeking Project Manager with outstanding organisational & communication skills and experience in EU projects

Job Purpose

The project manager will develop and implement EU projects, primarily in the field of e-skills and diversity. The main responsibility is for daily management of existing projects ensuring project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality. The project manager will also be responsible for responding to calls for tenders and calls for proposals as well as doing outreach.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Management and reporting of current projects to the highest standard
  • Outreach to policy makers and stakeholders on the subject of e-skills/diversity
  • Develop a strategic plan and for projects in general
  • Mapping of relevant EU funding programmes aligned with strategy and eligibility
  • Drafting applications to EU calls for proposals and tenders
  • Consortium building and management
  • Communication of project outcomes
  • Monitoring results and impact evaluation

Required competencies and skills

  • Self-driven and organised
  • Work cooperatively with multiple stakeholders from across Europe
  • Understand and apply EU funding rules to projects
  • Possess project management expertise in technology / ICT domains
  • Provide expertise in generic project management processes and tools
  • Ability to positively influence others to achieve results in line with project plans
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills – English native speaker level
  • Set priorities, develop work schedules, monitor progress towards goals and track actions
  • Flawless in administration


Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to senior public officials and industry leaders.

Evidence of management of complex EU projects (grants, service contracts, FP7….) completed on time and within budget, both from a content and administrative perspective.

Experience of minimum three years as Project Manager with previous responsibility for numerous successful projects (delivered on time, meeting client requirements).
