We welcome the report and the efforts of the rapporteur and shadows to build improved processes and mechanisms into the Directive, at the same time ensuring complementarity with the REACH Regulation and consistency with the New Legislative Framework. This is still the top priority of the ICT and consumer electronics industries in the recast. In consideration of the Compromise/Consolidated packages of amendments DIGITALEUROPE kindly requests the following to be taken into account.
