2.3 Appliances' "Power Management Features" are controlled by the user.

 

TRUE. You control when your appliances go to sleep. Use energy management options to decide when your appliances should go to sleep[1]. For example, following this link you can learn how to control your PC power management Features (LINK: see Annex below).

 

All DIGITALEUROPE members sell their appliances with Power Management Features. In addition, many appliances are sold with power management enabled, meaning that a low-power sleep mode will automatically activate if there has been no user activity for 15 minutes (computer monitors) to 30 minutes (computers).
