Position on RoHS annex III

DIGITALEUROPE is in principle supportive of an Annex III provided that:

• The substances mentioned in the list are found in electrical and electronic equipment (i.e. Musk Xylene is not used at all in electrical and electronic equipment)
• Substances are not added arbitrarily (e.g. Bisphenol A.)
• Substances are not simply copy pasted from the REACH Candidate List without any analysis for relevant use in electrical and electronic equipment given the link between RoHS and REACH in Article 6b
