This second edition of the campaign follows in principle the 2009 concept. It features a Europe-wide "Think Privacy" contest to create and submit a short ‘multi-media poster'. This year's theme is "Privacy is a Human Right - treat it with care". Winners will be selected from the most highly rated entries by an eminent jury and invited to spend three days in Brussels to attend a special Data Protection Day award ceremony on 28th of January 2010.

The best six videos will be used to launch the Computers, Privacy and Data Protection Conference. Prominent policy makers will go into much more detail in terms of policy discussions and will debate on the various aspects of privacy.

The evening of Data Protection Day will feature Pecha Kucha artists and a Privacy Party.
