DIGITALEUROPE welcomes increased visibility on potential of ICT to enable energy efficiency across the European economy

DIGITALEUROPE welcomed the Commission's Communication on mobilizing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to facilitate the transition to an energy-efficient, low-carbon economy and praised the Commission for bringing attention to the largely untapped potential of ICT to enable energy efficiency improvements in other sectors of the economy, thereby lowering emissions and fighting climate change.
