- DIGITALEUROPE monitors all relevant industry and political initiatives, informs its members through regular mailings, emails, newsletters and information transfer, as well as the hosting meetings and events
- DIGITALEUROPE is the primary communication vehicle of the Digital Technology Industry in Europe which ensures dissemination of industry information on the development and implementation of initiatives by the ICT industry, and initiatives that affect the ICT industry at European and Member State level.
Conditions for Membership
1. Associations
DIGITALEUROPE may accept as Members non-governmental, national associations representing the Digital Technology Industry (referred to in Article 1(b) of the Statutes) of a European country (within the meaning of Section 0 of these By-Laws) (?Member Associations?), subject to the following cumulative conditions:
- a maximum of three national associations per European country shall be admitted. These associations should together cover the interests of the Digital Technology Industry at national level, and
- there are no reasonable grounds on the basis of which it can be assumed that the prospective Member Association(s) would not fully support the objectives of DIGITALEUROPE.
2. Companies
DIGITALEUROPE may accept as Members companies belonging to the Digital Technology Industry (referred to in Article 1(b) of the Statutes) (Member Companies) provided that they meet the following criteria on a cumulative basis:
- the company can be considered as being a significant player in the European Digital Technology Industry;
- the company has a center of operations in at least one of the European countries;
- the company is providing added industry value and is engaged in Europe in one or more of the following Digital Technology Industry activities: research & development; manufacturing; services and content;
- the company is a member of at least one of the Member Associations of those European Countries where it has major operations as long as such Member Association remains an effective Member Association of DIGITALEUROPE;
- there are no reasonable grounds on the basis of which it can be assumed that the company would not fully support the principal objectives of DIGITALEUROPE.
Membership Application Process
The application process is quick and simple:
- Step 1: contact our dedicated team to determine whether your company or national trade association meets the DIGITALEUROPE membership criteria and most importantly how our organisation can best meet your needs.
- Step 2: fill out the application form, sign it and send it back to us (via email and mail).
- Step 3: your application is formally submitted to the DIGITALEUROPE Executive Board for approval.
- Step 4: after the DIGITALEUROPE Executive Board has approved your application, you are formally notified. You can then participate in all DIGITALEUROPE's activities.
