e-Inclusion

The integration of digital technology into the personal and professional lives of individuals has helped to create growth, increase productivity and improve quality of life, bringing with it tremendous economic and social advances to the citizens of Europe. Industry action combined with competition and economies of scale has contributed to this success in a very short period of time. However, some have been unable to exploit this incredible wave of technology and services and wherever possible their needs should be met. eInclusion group therefore calls for consistent and sustained policies within all EU member states, in order to support industry in pushing the boundaries of e-inclusion. A balanced approach between market enabling strategies for commercial offerings and targeted public funds for the most disadvantaged is required.
