Smart Grids

The implementation of Smart Grids is central to the development of the European Internal Market for Energy. The drive for lower-carbon generation, combined with greatly improved efficiency on the demand side, will empower consumers to select their most innovative suppliers capable to offer outstanding programs for energy efficiency. DIGITALEUROPE is amongst 25 European Associations representing all European Stakeholders that are assumed to play a role in the implementation of Smart Grids, together with European institutions and national actors.
